Inés Recio
Inés Recio Fernández (Spanish, PhD candidate) graduated in Translation and Interpreting from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Madrid and obtained her master’s degree in Applied Linguistics 2011 from the Universidad Nebrija. After working for several years at the Languages Department of the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, she joined Heidelberg University 2010. At the Institute of Translation and Interpreting, she coordinates the DAAD study programme Bachelor Plus-Übersetzungswissenschaft Spanisch and works on her PhD thesis on the processing of causal and counter-argumentative connectives by L1- and L2-speakers of Spanish under the supervision of Prof. Óscar Loureda. She is a member of the research group 'Discourse Particles and Cognition' (DPKog) and joined the HULC lab in 2012.
